If hundreds, no, thousands of hot fan girls of all ages decked out in revealing genre costumes running the gamut of sci-fi, superhero, fantasy & horror, etc, weren't enough to whet your appetite at this years Dragoncon, then celebrity eye-candy such as Morena Baccarin (Firefly/Serenity), Linda Blair (The Exorcist, Hell Night), Yancy Butler (Witchblade), Ami Dolenz (Witchboard II, Pumpkinhead II), Gigi Edgley (Farscape), Erin Gray (Buck Rogers), Virginia Hey (Farscape, The Road Warrior), Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) and Jewel Staite (Firefly/Serenity) would have definitely dropped you in your tracks. As an unrepentant male chauvinist pig, I was in seventh heaven and with a nod to each of these fine ladies considerable acting talents and other unique assets, I must tell you that they were all much lovelier in person ..... and that's saying something.
Of course, the male celebrities were equally impressive and with over five dozen actors in attendance, there was seemingly no popular film or hit TV show (past or present) that wasn't represented. It was great to see Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Erick Avari (The Mummy, Stargate SG-1), Beau Bridges (Stargate SG-1. Max Payne), Avery Brooks (Deep Space Nine), James Callis (Battlestar: Galactica), Micky Dolenz (The Monkee's), Michael Dorn (Star Trek: the Next Generation), Aaron Douglas (Battlestar: Galactica), Brad Dourif (Lord of the Rings, Dune), Jerry Doyle (Babylon 5), Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), Dean Haglund (The X Files), Richard Hatch ( original Battlestar: Galactica), Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Millennium), Michael Hogan (Battlestar: Galactica), Dominic Keating (Enterprise), Walter Koenig (Star Trek, Babylon 5), James Kyson Lee (Heroes), Matthew Lewis (the Harry Potter films), Robert Llewellyn (Red Dwarf), Jake Lloyd (The Phantom Menace), Cirroc Lofton (Deep Space Nine), Daniel Logan (Attack of the Clones), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville), Peter Mayhew (Star Wars), Phil Morris (Smallville, various Trek series), Devon Murray (the Harry Potter films), Edward James Olmos (Battlestar: Galactica, Blade Runner), Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar: Galactica), Ethan Phillips, Robert Picardo & Tim Russ (all from Star Trek: Voyager), Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville), George Takei (Star Trek, Heroes) and Adam West (TV's Batman).
And there were also plenty of science fiction, fantasy and horror authors, artists & painters and comic book industry professionals out the wazoo, too. "Something for everyone" doesn't even begin to cover all that this massive genre convention offers its fans.
Tomorrow, I will close out my comments on this years 22nd annual Dragoncon with my one unfortunate criticism. (Above; left-to-right) Gigi Edgley, Virginia Hey, Jewel Staite & Morena Baccarin.

You lucky guy! (Except possibly in the case of Linda Blair, but there's got to be a few rotten ones in the barrel.)
Now look here, Linda Blair is ONLY 49 years old, friend AND I did see the lady AND yes, she is lovely in person. Two of the ladies listed above alongside Ms. Blair are older than she is.
If you haven't seen some of her "spectacular" nude photos from years past, well let me tell you, the woman has some mighty fine assets and tiem hasn't diminished them any. To each his own when it comes to personal preferences, but Linda looked great.
