Here is an oddball tale starring Lance Hale from Silver Streak Comics #9 (Apr.1041); originally published by Lev Gleason and featuring the fun - yet wonky - pencils of the great Fred Guardineer.The front cover artwork featuring "Silver Streak" himself is by Bob Wood.

Two questions:
Were the heroes surprisingly small, or the Pygmies relatively big?
Given that the Pygmies were speaking backwards, why didn't their magic work?
Those are the very two things that struck me as "odd" about this short subject, Daniel.
I suppose that it must now be considered golden age "canon" that jungle pygmies aren't particularly height challenged, and that they only speak English backwards.
(Somebody warn Ms. Zatara!)
