Voodah in "The Petrified Peril" (Golfing;McCombs;1945) / "A Plot of Land" (St. John;1953)













It's "double-feature" day!! The native African hero of the jungle returns to the Catacombs after a lengthy absence to face off against a "strange terror" from out of times abyss in "The Petrified Peril" from Crown Comics #5 (Spring 1945) originally published by Golfing;McCombs in Spring 1945 and written & illustrated by Bob Hebberd; with nifty front cover artwork by Matt Baker & Al Feldstein. Watch as Voodah saves his people from a dinosaur in this golden age classic.
