“When you're ready come and get it, Na na na” seems to work
for Selena Gomez, so why not utilize the same tease for the Catacombs?
Thanks to all of you friendly folks who’ve continued to stop
by here during my extended sabbatical, and for the comments you’ve posted, and/or
messages that you’ve sent me privately. I’m only easing back into the blogging swing
of things, so gimme a bit to post here with more regularity. For now enjoy a Captain Cutlass pirate adventure tale from Seven
Seas Comics #6 (1947); originally published by Leader Enterprises. Despite the
splash credit, Manning Lee Stokes is the writer and likely Matt Baker or Jack
Kamen provided the uncredited art. The Catacombs acknowledges "Comic Book Plus", as the source of this classic comic story. Note: The
copyright for this issue, its contents and artwork belong to the original
publisher and/or creators and is reproduced here solely for entertainment
purposes. Enjoy!

Welcome back!!
Nice to see you back, Chuck. I've missed the comics and the girl friday feature.
I believe the art is by Robert Webb, who also drew Hawk of the Seas in Jumbo Comics.
I believe the art is by Robert Webb, perhaps with some Iger shop touchups. Webb also drew the Hawk of the Seas feature in Jumbo Comics.
